My friend at work Marianne gave me this Wee Gnome, because she knew I'd have fun with him. Guess the legend began in england. Respectable folks would steal other peoples garden gnome, take it on a trip, take photo's while gone and send to the owners. This is a small Gnome, perfect to go anywhere, and fun I shall have indeed.

SEND ME THE GNOME! I will take him out for a cultural tour of the capital - the gnome at the White House (or at the gate in front of the White House), the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian. We can head to Annapolis and do a photo shoot at the Naval Academy. To Baltimore, the Inner Harbor, the Aquarium... he may never want to come home! (but if he does, he can bring your Narnia CD's with him) :-)
My bil had a great deal of fun with a co-worker's troll dolls a few years ago in the tradition of the gnomes...it's my understanding that one in dh's unit has a love for gnomes...LOL
In my rural homeland, we used to steal clothes from those cement geese and then swap them with someone else's down the road. It was quite a scandal.
