To tired to adequately describe how much fun I've had this weekend so far, and it's not even over yet....so I'll do it in pictures. Don't know why my collages come up on the blog so blurry but there you go, must lose something in translation or something.....GOOD TIMES FOR REAL!
They didn't sing my song, or Happy Birthday.....but did I really expect them to, honestly....no...it was still off the hook. The song I was voting for is unreleased, not even on an album, maybe they'll call me tomorrow on my actual birthday and sing it on the phone....maybe? The best part about a Switchfoot Concert, they record the first 7 songs (I wish it was all of them) and you get a bootleg CD to take home with you for $5....so cool, and you can take pictures. So I've still been at the concert all day today....cause of the CD. The middle photo up top is Connie kissing the bootleg CD. Layni and I took the kids to see Beauty and the Beast. My friend Keitha's oldest son was in it. She had mentioned he had a kissing scene, so we were all stoked to see him get his smooch on. Then when we saw he was the dancing grapes, it was a bit of a mystery how the grapes would get the sweet hook up to get to kiss the princess???? How does that happen? But then it was perfectly clear and quite exciting for us all that the Beast Actually turns into a Prince.....and that Prince was Kyler.....that's how the grapes got to get his smooch on. So cool, and he did a great job! Perry and Maddie both were in awe of the princess....
