I rarely watch the news. I rarely read the newspaper. I've not been watching much TV at all lately. Stacie sent me searching for this article. Which is a great piece done by the folks at the Cincinnati Enquirer. I could easily become consumed by the problems of this world. This is why I don't watch the news! It's frustrating that nothing more can be done. Not to mention it reminds me how amazingly blessed I am. I can't even begin to understand Immigration laws, and I'm not even willing to debate them because I know too little. I just know that folks feel safe to come here and make money to provide for their families back home. Because they know they can't make that kind of money where they are from.
Ok two posts in one night. God is clearly in control of this blog tonight. I've now given you a lot to think about as well as a lot to pray about. My work here is done.

Oh, my gosh! I've been completely consumed by the context of this article. You can also go to the Enquirer online & watch video of their trip to Mexico to cover the funerals. I'm with you about not knowing enough about immigration laws to comment much, but my heart definitely goes out to these people who are literally incapable of making a living in their own country so risk their lives & break laws daily to come here out of necessity, looking for more for their families. Very troubling situation.
Jodi, I adore you :) Add me to the list of people who cannot even begin to figure out how to "fix" the laws but can't help wondering how one person can possibly help.
I got a reply back from both reporters, by the way... :)
P.S. Sorry I missed you Saturday. The boys were sick. Might have possible craziness news for you, too :)
